Let's cross insurance off your preflight checklist
Aircraft Insurance by people who share your passion for taking to the skies
Aircraft Insurance that's right for you
Whether you rent or own, it’s almost always recommended that you get aviation insurance. Many FBOs and hangar landlords require aviation liability insurance at the very least but prefer when you have full coverage.
Every plane is used differently, so we tailor each and every policy to exactly what you need it for, no more, no less.
Other agents might try to cut corners and offer you limited coverage to make your policy seem cheaper, but it might cost you far more in the long run. We take everything about your situation into account, so you know you are getting the best deal around.
What aviation insurance coverage should I get?
There are two main kinds of aircraft coverage, liability and hull coverage. The amount that’s right for you depends on your situation because every scenario is a little different.
Aviation Liability Insurance
Aviation Liability Insurance is required in many states because it covers injuries, and property damage caused by their aircraft. Bodily Injury Liability covers medical expenses for injuries sustained by passengers, crew, or people on the ground in the event of an accident. Property Damage Liability covers the cost of damages to property on the ground, such as hangers, parked aircraft, and more. Passenger Liability is usually bought by airlines and charter services because it protects against passenger lawsuits in the event of injury or loss.
Aircraft Hull Insurance
Hull Insurance covers the cost of repair or replacement of your aircraft in the event of an accident. Policies may offer either market value or agreed value coverage. Market value takes into account the current market value of the aircraft, while the agreed value is a predetermined value agreed upon by you and the insurance company. You can adjust any other additional coverages that you may want under hull insurance as well, such as your avionics, spare parts, and various upgrades.
