What is the Boston Cup?
The Boston Cup is an elegant, unique, and accessible classic car show that takes place in Boston, Massachusetts. Part of why this show is so unique is because of its urban location. With the show cars encircling the historic Parkman Bandstand in the center of the Boston Common, you see a 360-degree backdrop of the Boston skyline. In its 13th year, the ‘Car Show on the Common’ has been regarded as one of the top shows in New England.
Brief History of The Boston Cup
With the help of fellow car enthusiasts, Rich Doucette decided to fill the void that was left behind in the car show world when the ‘Castle Hill Concours d’Elegance’ was discontinued. Being a Boston local, Rich was able to get unique permission to have the show in the middle of Boston, encircling the iconic Parkman Bandstand. Starting in September of 2012, 2024 marks the show’s 13th year.
What kind of cars are at the Boston Cup?
For the most part, this is a diverse car show, featuring classic cars and limited-edition modern cars. Being a selective, invite-only show, the field consists of the top 100 entrants, filling out a handful of different classes. Depending on the year, we’ve seen everything from Porsche racecars to Packards.
When is it?
This year, the show is scheduled to be on September 29th, 2024.
How can I enter my car?
